亚庇12日讯: 沙巴法律协会主席苏观山表示，如果联邦政府无法完全执行1963年大马立国契约（MA63），州政府是可以选择对联邦政府采取法律行动的。不过他也说，起诉联邦政府只能是「最终手段」，亦即州政府已经采取了所有可行的方案，但联邦政府却依然无法履行1963年大马契约。他表示，根据他详细阅读1963年大马契约之后了解，文件中的第8条阐明，沙巴和砂拉越可以采取一切可行的行动，去确保1963大马契约这份政府委员会（Inter-Governmental Committee）间的协议获得执行。

Like boxing, before coming into the boxing ring, rules must be set and the rules must be clear. The calling by the federal government to the negotiation table to trash matters in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63 Treaty) which now led to the proposed amendment of Article 1(2) of the Federal Constitution was a trap set by the federal government. The trap was to get Sabah and Sarawak to come to the negotiating table to agree that Article 1(2) should be amended to give equal status to Sabah and Sarawak equal to Malaya. In the proposed amendment, it will be mentioned that Sabah and Sarawak shall be territories of the Federation of Malaysia.

*Are not Sabah and Sarawak colonies of the Federation of Malaya? Now the federal government has suggested to amend Article 1(2) Federal Constitution to give back the status of Sabah and Sarawak to their original positions but this would not be able to solve the problems faced by Sabah and Sarawak. It is proposed that Sabah and Sarawak as *wilayah* within the Federation. This is bad because *wilayah means territory* not Nations. Do take note, the Federation of Malaysia is not a country but a federation formed originally by four countries and this status should be maintained.
Are we stupid or are you – our leaders – that after over half a century you have still not got it right? The Malays in Singapore are by and large better off than us yet they do not have Bumiputraism. Why not learn from them? The wealth gap intra the Malay community is much wider than that of the other communities. We have super rich Malays while most of us struggle to make ends meet. Are these rich Malays so much cleverer or more hard working than us? Or is it because they have used their positions and connections to enrich themselves at our expense?
In the federal constitution, proper funds should be allocated to Sabah and Sarawak for development but the federal government had not done so in the past since the Federation of Malaysia came into existence. Therefore the spirit of equality and equal partnership between Sabah, Sarawak and the Federation of Malaya is an illusionary vision only. In 2017 it was said Sarawak contributed a revenue of RM110 billion in revenue, but, in the first ever budget by the PH government, Sarawak only got only RM4 billion back. There is much dissatisfaction these days days against Federation of Malaya as a partner that the people of Sabah and Sarawak are calling to exit from the Federation of Malaysia.
复国后第一个要做的是把DUN地位改成国会？
违反MA63 的条规，法律，ACTS等等应该自动取消。不然一切只是纸上谈兵。就算中央政府有诚意修改宪法，恢復沙巴、砂拉越邦的地位，是否会在拨款和行政方面会以邦国地位对待？还是修改宪法后，一切照旧？更重要一点是砂拉越和沙巴人民和他们的后代，从中可以得到什么好处？
Is it all good news??
It all depends on what's to be amended and how it is amended. Before we see the content of the proposed amendment it is too early to celebrate the return of Sabah and Sarawak full rights.
The amendment should nullify all laws, ACTS,, regulations, and agreement that were passed against MALAYSIA AGREEMENT 1963 (MA63). Without rectifying these, the amendment is nothing and meaningless but a trap for Sabah and Sarawak and the amendment might be used as a legal means to legalised past wrong doing/treatment to Sabah and Sarawak.

KUCHING, Feb 27: Getting rid of imperialism from the Federation of Malaya by completing and adhering to the decolonisation process under United Nations (UN) Resolutions 1514 and 1541 could be a step forward for Sarawak and Sabah to restore its rights, especially to oil and gas. Lawyer-cum-former Batu Lintang assemblyman Voon Lee Shan opined that UN Resolution 1514 showed the route to decolonisation.
If PH forms the state government, there could be a possibility for PH to amend the Sarawak Land Code and to streamline this Sarawak Land Code with the National Land Code to deprive the dayaks of their land. A vote for PH is a vote for imperialism by Malaya over Sarawak. A vote for GPS is a vote for continued policies of colonialism by the Federation of Malaya over Sarawak. It is a sad thing dayaks are still fighting a losing game. Many don't realise that locals here are agents of Malayan government to dominate Sarawakians economically and politically.

PETALING JAYA: The sales and service tax (SST), which was introduced in September 2018, have increased the cost of doing business among Malaysian manufacturers by up to 10%, according to a recent survey by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER).
The truth is PH mentioned about removal of GST to save "the world" and it was never mentioned that GST will be replaced by SST during GE14 campaign. If it was mentioned up front that SST to replace GST the GE14 final results could be very different. Perhaps PH leaders believe by removing GST and replacing it with SST; and removal of tolls and replacing it with congestion charge people will buy that PH has fulfilled its election promises though LGE said "Govt did not say prices won't increase after SST" and perhaps later after charging congestion charge? Isn't it just a change of name with no change of cost nature to Malaysia public?

PUTRAJAYA: The road tax fees for registered commercial goods vehicles in Sabah and Sarawak will be standardised using the kerb weight (BTM) criteria from April 1, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook.
When an out of court settlement was signed on January 24th agreeing that Sarawak Report’s legal bills should be paid to the tune of RM1.4 million (RM1,422,980.00) as part of the arrangement to allow Hadi Awang to withdraw from his case, Sarawak Report agreed to Hadi’s condition that both parties keep the payment confidential.
DAP should table a motion in DUN for the purpose. That will be more meaningful.

He opined that the government’s plan to merge classes of less than 30 students of different grades and to be taught by a single teacher would affect 22 of the 222 Chinese primary Schools in Sarawak.
