Sarawak to use English in teaching mathematics and it does not "U" turn!
Education, Science and Technology Research Minister Datuk Seri McGowan announced today that next year, 1046 primary schools will officially adopt English teaching mathematics in response to Prime Minister Tun Mahathir’s proposal to restart the English teaching mathematics plan. Sarawak is willing to accept this challenge and become the first state in the country to adopt English teaching.

Scholarships for Palestinians: Help local students first, Putrajaya told
KUCHING, May 24: Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Bersatu (PBDSB) wants the federal government to reconsider its offer of scholarships to Palestinians.
PBDSB Information chief William Mangor said Putrajaya should prioritise local students before helping foreigners.

Education for all children? Sure? 90:10 bumi:non bumi quota ratio clearly indicated that you are depriving non bumi children from entering local government university when entrance to university is not based on merit but based on race and universities funding is from non bumi tax payers. Isn't this racist in nature by whatever standard?

IN my last article, I took us along memory lane through the 60s and 70s when our education was world class. As I said, we prepared our bumiputra students at foundational levels in secondary residential and semi-residential schools to be able to competently compete on merit with others, at primarily international universities overseas.

IT is safe to say that the new ruling on tinted window marks the first blip of the Transport Ministry under the Pakatan Harapan government.
The regulation, announced last week, allows motorists to tint rear windshields and passenger windows as dark as they want.
