In 1963, the federation of Malaysia was formed by 4 different Territories, namely the federation of Malaya (consisting of 11 states), the State of Sarawak, the State of North Borneo and the State of Singapore. These were the 4 signatories to the Agreement in 1963. The other signatory was United Kingdom, acting as the colonial master of the States of Sarawak, North Borneo and Singapore.

砂拉越政党联盟今日文告对有关修正案说这项修正案的提呈显得过于仓促，许多牵涉到砂拉越欲追讨以及被侵蚀了的特权，都没有被列入有关修正案，包括：

  • 第160条事项里对“联邦”的定义是以1957年马来亚联邦协议为根据，但这只关系到西马半岛；
  • 为了展现伙伴间的同等地位，国会议员、人民代议士、上议员以及联邦内阁部长的人数，都有必要重新加以修正。

砂政盟认为， 任何涉及砂拉越的修正法案在国会下议员提呈之前，都必须先带入砂拉越州立法议会，因为对砂拉越而言，更重要的是透过更完整的修正案将砂拉越应有的权益归还予砂拉越人民，而不只是片面的把砂拉越的地位改为“伙伴”。

现在进行的联邦宪法第1(2)条文的修改将不会改变砂拉越与沙巴在马来西亚联邦内的地位。砂拉越法律顾问拿督斯里冯裕中指出﹐在现在的修宪下﹐马来西亚仍旧有13州﹐包括砂拉越与沙巴﹐因为第2项条文列明﹐联邦的州属包括﹕(1)柔佛﹑吉打﹑吉兰丹﹑马六甲﹑森美兰﹑彭亨﹑槟城﹑霹雳﹑玻璃市﹑雪兰莪及登嘉楼﹐(2)砂拉越及沙巴。他指出﹐我们仍旧是州属。它没有任何不同。实际上﹐我们已被再次巩固了我们是其中一个州属的地位。他续表示﹐联邦宪法第1(2)条文不能够在没有修改“联邦”字眼下进行。

砂公正党婆罗洲高原区国会议员威利莫因直言﹐联邦宪法第1(2)条文的修宪法案用词不是很令人满意﹐所以他就认为﹐有关法案的用词可以被改进﹐而砂拉越应及沙巴应该被列为砂拉越国(Negara Sarawak)及沙巴国(Negara Sabah)﹐并且不应该只是联邦州属之一。威利莫因今日以文告方式﹐针对联邦首相署部长拿督刘伟强今日在国会中提呈2019年联邦宪法(修正)法案一事﹐向《婆罗洲马来邮报》如是表示。他说﹐其本身对联邦宪法第1(2)条文的修宪法案用词不是很满意﹐他认为说﹐有关用词可以被改进。 

 

人权会裁定，警方政治部绑架许景裕与安里

人权委员会今日公布安里仄末案的听证会调查结果。听证会主席马永贵指出，他们一致裁定国家机关人员（state agents）涉及许景裕与安里的强迫失踪案。 人权委员会分成两部分，先是公布安里案，接着再发布许景裕案的调查结果。 安里案的调查报告指出：“我们认为，安里的强迫失踪是由国家机关人员所执行，即吉隆坡武吉阿曼的政治部。”  较后，人权委员会公布许景裕案的调查报告时，同样点名警方政治部绑架许景裕。不过，警方今天并没有派任何代表出席听证会。《当今大马》正在联络警方，以寻求回应。

Comrade Voon Lee Shan speaks:  I want to say why I come back to politics. I already enjoy my pension of a few thousands a month. If I come back, my pension will cease.  So why should I be bothered to come back? I should enjoy my grandchildren etc. Then I look around and see that others who are older than me are still in it.   If I don’t do it then who will do it?   Politics affect every area of our lives. Look at our roads where we suffer but Malaya enjoy our $ and have good roads. Sarawak is where I live and I die. So since I have the platform now I come back to politics and want to take Sarawak back as a sovereign nation.

Breaking Cement monopoly ? Sarawak merchants should be free to import from overseas too. To bring down housing price, quality steel and cements should be allowed to be imported from overseas. Protection of local industries if could not yield mature local industry should be stopped to push local industry to innovate in order to compete as such protection is at the expenses of property purchasers, they are paying for local industry inefficiency.

麦西慕：不解决非法移民 大马恐“失去”沙巴

沙团结党主席拿督麦西慕昨日说：沙巴非法移民问题从70年代就开始出现，现在已严重到影响国家安全，如果还不解决，大马绝对有可能「失去」沙巴。人民，特别是年轻一代已感到灰心。他们只能重复的问，为什么联邦政府倾全力，动用了所有安全部队及设备，还是不能完全保护沙巴免于外来人持续的进来？一些甚至可能是恐怖份子？」 沙巴370万人口中，至少三分之一是外来人，外来人中大部份为非法移民。SSKM 也一直都在鼓吹如果大马政府没有能力保护沙巴及砂拉越，就让有能力的来做这些工作。

There are several parties that have expressed interest in buying the troubled national airlines Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS), says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. We want to study whether or not we should sell. Although the management is externally appointed, MAS is still suffering losses. So, one of the ways is to sell.  he said: I love MAS. I want MAS to be a national airline. But it seems as though we can't afford it,"

The implementation of the Pan Borneo Project, Enc.Mohd Faz Abdul Hamid, pointed out at the Kota Kinabalu on the 19th thatafter the 5.09 Parliament election was changed, the Contractor is still infatuatedly awaiting federal government funding the remaining 23 projects in the first phase of the Pan Borneo Project.

Sarawak hotel business fell in 2018. Only 374 people traveled to Mulu National Park in the first two months of this year.

In 2018, the hotel industry in Sarawak plunged, and the market was dropped every yearly.  According to the immigration records, there were only 49,119 people entering Miri Airport in the first two months of this 2019。And the number of trips to the Mulu National Park was only 374 in the first two months of this 2019. The passengers were pitiful。

泛婆大道工程执行伙伴 仍痴等联邦对剩下的66%工程拨款

泛婆大道工程执行伙伴莫哈末法兹阿都哈密19日在亚庇指出，在509大选变天后，至今仍在「痴等」联邦政府对该大道第1期工程下其余23个配套之拨款。他说，改朝换代后，联邦政府重新审视国家财政状况，连带泛婆大道第1期工程的拨款也被重新检讨。泛婆大道第1期工程有35个配套，迄今已颁布12个配套，其余23个配套（约66%）则仍等待联邦政府的拨款，第1期工程耗资220亿，包括征地费用在内。 参与工程发展的顾问工程师设计师等，90%是本地人。第1期工程须在2021年9月30日或之前交付，否则将会面对赔偿。
