The MA63 suit filed in court is utmost important to determine the future of Sabah and Sarawak. If the MA63 is declared null and void or could be invalidated due to willful breaches, the federation could be dissolved. But the political will of the GPS government is to see Sarawak stay in Malaysia.

The GPS government in seeking to strike out the MA63 suit shows that the GPS government is supportive of the federal government to see Sarawak will forever remain in the federation. The federal government is controlled by Malaya and if Sarawak cannot get out of the federation, the future of Sarawak would likely to be bleak because all things are controlled by Malaya.

Being in the federation, Sarawak has no control of its oil and gas resources and infrastructure. Big companies from Malaya and statutory bodies are “invading” our land here. Many native lands been taken or encroached by these companies and statutory bodies from Malaya leading to many legal disputes in court.

We also can see that political parties from Malaya that are in Sarawak are also in favour of Sarawak staying in the federation
