Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Dato Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said "the number of new business entities registered is far more than those closed due to effects of Covid-19 pandemic."

However he failed to know that less people closed business recorded because those decided to stop business and surrender their trades license and when trying to cancel their business registration asked to pay RM70 for deregistration. So business man stop doing business and keep the business registration to save RM70.

How on earth can they justify charging such high fee to cancel business registration. Deregistration of business involved a lot of work? Penalty for unable to do well in business??
