On 10/9/2025 I was called by the Registrar of Societies from Putrajaya asking me to go to Putrajaya for an investigation concerning the struggles and mission of Parti Bumi Kenyalang. I pleaded to give my statement in Kuching and was allowed as it was urgent.

I was interrogated for three hours for my statement, but, regret to mention that there was no official complaint made against the party or me and I was not told what were the specific allegations made against the party or me. The interrogators could not answer my queries.

At first I was not allowed to bring any companion to their office but on my demand, they could not tell me the law that prohibits me to be accompanied by someone to their office. This was about my personal safety.

Public had been concerned about my personal safety and also about our Parti Bumi Kenyalang(PBK).

I have therefore, have to make this press statement to keep people calm and not have any anxiety about the matter. Please be cool and trust that nothing could be funny with me.

Public were concerned because they feared of another incident like Teo Beng Hock happening, especially, after my safety was threatened by SPRM during elections recently, which, SPRM denied after people came to know my safety was threatened.

Teo Beng Hock was found dead after being called by an investigating agency concerning political activities of his party.

We need to stress that PBK's struggles and mission are constitutional. There is an intrinsic right to speak and to pursue independence by peaceful and legal means like what Singapore did in 1965 from Malaysia.

The court had ruled in a suit filed by PBK through a few plaintiffs to declare Malaysia Agreement 1963 null and void or the integration of Sabah and Sarawak into the Malayan federation was wrongful was dismissed by court because the court said only the state government of the day has the locus standi or is empowered to do this. GPS government don't want this to happen because this can lead Sabah and Sarawak to leave Malaysia.

I also regret that PBK, the interrogators, did not know PBK is a lawfully registered political party registered with the Registrar of Societies under the Societies Act 1966.

The interrogators also had no knowledge that l was elected by party members as President.

It's difficult for me to communicate with the interrogators because the could not speak English well, knowing very well english is an official language in Sarawak
